Who we are

Clinical Lab Finder (clinicallabfinder.com) is operated from the United Kingdom. Clinical Lab Finder is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact: [email protected].

Directory data

Listings repeat public business information about organisations (laboratories) published by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (NPPES NPI Registry and the Provider of Services CLIA file). We do not list individual practitioners.

What we collect through the claim/correction form

• NPI, request type, your name, work email, role and message.
• The country of the request, as reported by our host, to help fight spam.

Why, and on what legal basis

To check and handle your request and reply to you. Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interests (keeping listings accurate and responding to requests). We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your separate consent.

Where it is stored and who processes it

Form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our processor; data may be processed in the US under Cloudflare's data processing terms and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards). Emails you send us are handled by our email provider.

How long we keep it

We keep submissions for 12 months after your request is resolved, then delete them. If your claim becomes a paid listing, we keep account records as long as needed for the contract and for legal and tax purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking analytics.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). US residents may have similar rights under state privacy laws; email us to make a request and we will respond regardless of where you live.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children.
